Lost in a Known Place

This place seems familiar to me

I have travelled here many times before..

In different seasons of my soul,

I witness a new dimension in the city

I have seen many autumns and spring

These places have not changed yet

I wandered in these streets many times before

Then why I feel lost here?

In this busy metropolis where..

These tall buildings, heavy vehicles

And luxurious malls appeal to others

Why they fail to tempt me?

They are not new for me..

Then why I feel strange once again

there is a lot for people to gain

What’s this emptiness all about?

Did I bring my inner chaos to this place?

Is it my distorted inside that doesn’t let me enjoy the outside?

Where would I go to heal?

Is there any place on the face of earth to travel?

Where I can go without taking my inner self..

Back then when I was young,
I liked to engage in conversations..
That don’t even need my participation,
But I liked to comment on every argument,
Without wasting a single moment.
Despite the fact..
I didn’t always have something important to present..
I simply liked to get involved in the debate..
And tried best to win the argument,
That gave me immense pleasure
And now..
When I have more exposure,
And we have more topics of conversation,
I don’t feel an urge of indulging..
Even when I have strong points in favor of my belief
When I could better defend my opinion
I disregard mere punching,
On the face of opponent.
I prefer to remain silent..
And practice patience
Silence worth more than thousand words
Because of its higher salience.

The Wild Journey

bigstock-Stone-Road-In-Garden-1243359 (1) It’s a journey through wild storms

That brought merciless

Tides of emotions

Drained in the floods of tears,

The journey of roller coaster,

That weighs me down

And lifted me up,

The restless battle of reason,

And the heart filled with faith

The journey of,

Untamed wild thoughts

And lost temperament

The war fought within,

Between the virtue & the sin

A journey that witnesses,

Unshakable courage,

On haunting occasions

Of the unmet desires,

And unwise decisions

This is the book of,

Lessons learned by

Unforgettable experiences

I am writing today,

The pain and the misery,

With the blend of gratitude,

For the gifts that it has given,

To mark my existence,

To travel the untraveled path.

From Life to Death..

Weren’t you ever afraid to grow old, I asked?

“Mitch, I embrace aging.”

Embrace it?

“It’s very simple. As you grow, you learn more. If you stayed at twenty-two, you’d always be as ignorant as you were at twenty-two. Aging is not just decay, you know. It’s growth. It’s more than the negative that you’re going to die, it’s also the positive that you understand you’re going to die, and that you live a better life because of it.”

Yes, I said, but if aging were so valuable, why do people always say, “Oh, if I were young again.” You never hear people say, “I wish I were sixty-five.”

He smiled. “You know what that reflects? Unsatisfied lives. Unfulfilled lives. Lives that haven’t found meaning. Because if you’ve found meaning in your life, you don’t want to go back. You want to go forward. You want to see more, do more. You can’t wait until sixty-five.

“Listen. You should know something. All younger people should know something. If you’re always battling against getting older, you’re always going to be unhappy, because it will happen anyhow.

“And Mitch?”

He lowered his voice.

“The fact is, you are going to die eventually.” I nodded.

Excerpt from: Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

I am the Mankind

I'm the Light. I own the Darkness.

I’m the Light. I own the Darkness.

“I am one with all things – in beauty, in ugliness, for whatsoever is – there I am.

Not only in virtue but sin too, I am a partner, and not only heaven but hell too is mine.

Buddha, Jesus, Lao Tzu – it is easy to be their heir.

But Genghis, Taimur, and Hitler?

They are also within me!

No, not half – I am the whole of mankind.

Whatsoever is man’s … is mine – Flowers and thorns, darkness as well as light,

and if nectar is mine, whose is poison?

Nectar and poison – both are mine.

Whoever experiences this I call religious, for only the anguish of such experience can revolutionize life on earth.”

– Osho.

In the midst of Chaos

The Desired Filth

In the midst of Chaos,
All the Glittered faces,
Looking for acceptance,
And the appreciation,
From all the unknown,
Unworthy & Volatile,
All these filthy eyes,
And empty souls..
Looking for identity,
By losing self worth,
Poor innocent beings,
Desiring inner peace,
By worshipping,
Immortal bodies..

LOVE – the superficial & over rated emotion !!

Love is around You !

I was just having a conversation with my friend about love. When I asked him about what he think of Love. He surprised me saying he has tried to Google many definitions of the word Love but unfortunately couldn’t get a proper and complete definition. I smiled on his sweet reply and on his innocence. In all generations, this is the most discussed topic, in books, television, movies, even it’s a hot point of conversation during teen and young age.. People falling in love with each other and feel it differently in different situations and time.

Well, I think society and especially media have made this simple thing so complex that people spend their lives waiting for the right time for the right person to fall in love. I believe, the purest and the unconditional love is of God that one can find using all his five or six senses around him in His universe. this is the Love of Creator with His creation that is so apparent that we humans take it for granted. How many of us appreciate that we are living a life that somebody might be fighting for and counting his last few breaths on death bed. We can see the beauty in green plants and colorful flowers, in the light rays at the time of dawn and dusk. We can smell our favorite perfumes and natural fragrances, we can taste the delicious food and enjoy dining in and out with family and friends. We can walk on our feet that some people can’t have this privilege. But the overwhelming desire of having latest and luxurious vehicles deprive us to enjoy and be thankful of this blessing of God.

I would like to share the point when a human being is loved by other human being after God. It was a mother’s love, she loves a child and feels his presence and life in her womb even before seeing her child. That is Love. the true and unconditional. So it is about the purest and honest feeling that we feel for us or someone else. it could be for a plant or animal as well.. and if we start loving us and count blessings around us than we would definitely be thankful for everything. so Stop waiting for Mr. Right or Miss Right ! and appreciate and celebrate the love that is inside you and everywhere spread around you. Things come to us on the right time, worrying and desperation just ruin our present that is a Gift and is so Beautiful.

Blessings upon you.

Changing Ourselves to Please Others

They say change is good. I agree change is good if it adds value to your life. Change could be of many types, however two broad categories of change would be: you change yourself on your own call and changing ourselves to meet the set criterion of our family or friends. Most of us try to change to please others. They think by doing so they would get acceptance by others and people start liking them. Fat people go on strict diet plans and start sweating in gym just to get ‘ideal’ figure so that they may attract people and receive compliments. While some apply expensive cosmetics to look beautiful. This happens when you hate yourself and the present state you are in. This hatred makes you obsessive about good looks and lowers your self esteem that may result in indulging risking behaviors.

There is no harm in working out and taking healthy diet if you do it for your own betterment. We should work on our image and all have a right to look good. But it must not happen for the sake of others. At the first place, we should establish peace within and be friends with our own self. Then only we could love others and make them happy. But it should not be done on the cost of your self esteem. It’s not a good deal to trade your individuality by struggling to get rid of your personality traits. You are beautiful because God made you unique. Start loving yourself to be capable of loving others.
